How do you turn a two-door 4WD into a tourer?
This is a first-hand build log, with our own money and our own mess, so we say that up front. A two-door work ute became a self-contained tourer over eighteen months. It now sleeps two, holds its own power, and carries enough water for remote country. Total spend landed near $6,200. The order we spent it in mattered more than the gear we chose.
